ScreenSafe UK want to take a proactive stance towards working with service providers and commissioners. We want you to feel placing your drug and alcohol testing with us is a safe bet. One where you stay on budget, hit performance related targets and have contented teams.

Taking the headache away...

Drug testing is sometimes seen as a necessary evil. Next to staff costs, it may be one of your largest expenditures. In these times of austerity we want our testing to offer real value for money, backed up by a service that takes the stresses away from you. We have several service offerings to help achieve this.

Pre-pay

Work out your testing needs with us and we'll give you a discount for paying up front in incremental amounts.

  1. Means you know how much you will have spent at the start of the year and not at the end of the year.
  2. We will hold and deliver the stock as needed. Helps stock rotation (less "out of date" wastage).

Reporting

We will send you K.P.I. reports on your services spending.

  1. We will warn where uptake may be above budget and demonstrate areas where it may be below, to enable reallocation of resources.
  2. We will report on and monitor the monthly spend and send relevant information to your finance and team managers, helping them control spending at source.

Training

We will train your staff. We have experience of training staff in the intricacies of drug testing in a variety of settings.

  1. Full product training - less mistakes, less waste, better relationships with service users.
  2. Understanding results - what they mean, how they can differ, what to look for when adulteration is suspected, where to refer to in the event of query.
  3. Saves time, builds staff confidence and client relationships.
  4. Literature - easy to read guides with instructions and helpful back up information about cross reactivity, cut off levels, detection windows etc. Wall mounted charts & leaflets with essential information can be produced.

Your own branding

For Nationwide or large organisations we can offer products detailed with your own brand. This can be helpful where:

  1. Different organisations work in the same premises using different suppliers.
  2. A strong corporate identity is required.
  3. To demonstrate continuity to clients.
  4. When entering tenders for service provision.

Senior staff training

It may be difficult to procure (or direct others to procure) a testing provider when you know little about testing itself.

  1. We will call in and go through drug testing with you, factually and impartially.
  2. No sales follow up will be made and the information is given as a service.
  3. We hope this may help decisions to be made for the right reasons and weighting in tenders to be given appropriately.
  4. Drug testing is carried out in the public sector using public money - and we are tax payers too!

Ethical Procurement, The Environment and Corporate Responsibility

We care about the environment. We care about Ethical Procurement. We care about Corporate Responsibility.

  1. We ensure we choose our supply partners who work to an ethos similar to our own - we do not source products from companies and/or countries with known or alleged unethical work practices, including both Human Rights and Environmental impact.
  2. We use less plastic in our testing devices - our urine test cups use almost half the plastic of other products in use in the UK.
  3. Our plastic testing devices are made from recyclable plastics where possible.
  4. We try to limit our impact on the environment in many ways. From lowering our carbon footprint through energy savings etc, to utilising digital "e" options for leaflets and brochures etc. We try to recycle old packaging where possible, and try to source all "new" packaging and paper products from recycled or sustainable sources.
  5. We encourage a positive impact through our activities on the environment, consumers, employees, communities, stakeholders and all other members of the public sphere.
  6. We proactively promote the public interest by encouraging community growth and development, and voluntarily eliminating practices that harm the public sphere, regardless of legality.
  7. We try to honour a triple bottom line: People, Planet, Profit.
