Drug Testing

We can test for: Amphetamines, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Buprenorphine, Cocaine, GHB, Ketamine, Marijuana, Methadone and EDDP, Methamphetamine, MDMA, Opiates (including 6-MAM), Oxycodone, Phencyclidine, Propoxyphene, Tricyclic Antidepressants, Cotinine, Alcohol, Tramadol, Fentanyl and others such as Mephedrone (and similar), Synthetic Cannabis (Spice etc) and Steroids which can be dependent on the test method. If it can be tested for, we can usually do it - either as Point of Care or via Laboratory analysis!

Take advantage of our instant urine and oral fluid/saliva kits made specifically for your testing needs. Bespoke panels and "own label" can be made to order (minimum order may apply). For Nationwide or large organisations we can offer products detailed with your own branding. This can be of benefit where:

  1. Different organisations work in the same premises using different suppliers - correct allocation/use of resources;
  2. A strong corporate or organisational identity is required;
  3. To demonstrate continuity to clients;
  4. When entering tenders for service provision.

New innovative tests

Our kits can include an extra methadone marker test strip, EDDP, at no extra cost. This is a metabolite created by the body when metabolising Methadone. Using this strip alongside the Methadone strip can help to identify cases of attempted adulteration and prove compliance with a prescription. E.g. If the Methadone strip shows positive, but the EDDP strip shows negative - this can indicate that the donor has attempted to interfere with the process. In cases where urine has been adulterated with neat Methadone, the EDDP will be negative, indicating that the Methadone has not passed through the donor's system. Sometimes people who metabolise Methadone quickly can have low levels in their urine when they are tested which can lead to borderline negative results. The EDDP strip can help to prove compliance in line with the prescription in these cases.

Alcohol Testing

ScreenSafe UK can offer you a range of alcohol testing devices and can help to advise you which is most appropriate for your service. We have devices ranging from basic point of care up to Home Office approved Breathalysers with differences in price and level of information gained. Our testing products offer several mediums for alcohol testing, including breath, saliva and urine. We also carry out blood testing looking for markers of alcohol use via Carbohydrate Deficient Transferrin (CDT) and Liver Function Tests (LFT).

For markers of long term / excessive alcohol use, we can test for Ethylglucuronide (ETG) and Fatty Acid Ethyl Esters (FAEE) in hair. We even have a unique method of testing in hair, exclusive to us, that can help indicate total abstinence of 6 months or longer.
