Charity Support

Although ScreenSafe UK try to help out where we can with many local and national charities, it is often very difficult to support everyone. For this reason, we have chosen to support two particular charities long-term. One is very well known, the other is not so.

BBC Children in Need makes a positive change to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK (www.bbc.co.uk/pudsey).

The Starfish Clinic Project International (SCPI) has been set up as a UK charity with the objective of helping to eliminate preventable illnesses and deaths within communities that lack basic medical care and education. Last year we helped kit out an ambulance that has helped provide mobile treatment, vaccinations and care to men, women and children in one of the most remote parts of Africa. We know that it has already helped to save many lives (www.scpinternational.org).

If you wish to find out more about either of these fantastic and worthwhile organisations, or to give your much needed support (and possibly a donation!) please click on the links/logos above and do what you can to raise money and awareness.

We know times are hard, but they are likely to be harder for the men, women and children that benefit from these two great charities!
